Here we are, 5 months into life with sweet little Hazel and life is just that, sweet. It’s been a while since I’ve given you guys a life update so I thought Hazel’s 5 month update was a good time to let you all in on how things are going. Plus five baby items we can’t live without right now.
Hazel’s exact outfit is sold out but this one is very similar and her bow is from this shop! It’s one that came as a part of their monthly bow subscription that A Little Lady Shop offers. This would be such a great Holiday gift for a baby or toddler girl!
We are very blessed that Hazel is an easy baby. With that I am confident in saying that the transition from one baby to two has been great! Although I was nervous to have two so close together, it has been a surprising smooth transition. It’s amazing how another tiny human can so easily fit into your life as if they’ve always been there.
My favorite part of having two so close together is watching them bond. Even at such a young age Collins and Hazel already have a special relationship. Collins has done great with the transition. She loves to make Hazel laugh and will be silly and fake laugh just see if she can get Hazel to laugh too!
If you’ve been following along for a while, then you know we follow the Moms On Call book. Luckily, Hazel is a great sleeper. Usually she goes down at 7pm and stays down until about 7am. Although, her naps have been a little off lately. But we feel like that could be attributed to her cutting her first tooth. However, we are hoping that with the introduction of solid foods, this will help keep her nice and full through her daytime naps.
No. 1 Eight Piece Rattle Set
This rattle set has been Hazel’s favorite toy and keeps her entertained and her mind working for long stretches. Plus is great for her cognitive development! This would make an awesome gift if you have any newborns or babies on your list to shop for this Holiday season!
No. 2 Sit Me Up Floor Seat
Hazel is officially sitting with assistance! This floor chair has been amazing in helping her sit up and build her core muscles while also entertaining her! It’s super affordable and great to travel with!
No. 3 Triangular Scarves
The drooling is in full force with Hazel now that she’s teething! These cute little bandana style bibs help to keep her tops dry and the outfit changes to minimum throughout the day.
No. 4 Ryan and Rose Pacifier
We have loved these pacifiers since day one with both Collins and Hazel! Not only are they beautiful and come in a ton of colors, but help to sooth the girls when they are fussy or teething. This would make such a great stocking stuffer or gift topper for a baby gift!
No. 5 Nuna PIPA Lite x Car Seat
This is the exact car seat we used with Collins and loved it so much we decided to use it again with Hazel as well! It’s light weight and easy to cary and also can easily pop into our Uppa Baby Vista Stroller System if you have the adapter.

Hi!! I am using Moms on Call as well and I’m to where my baby sleeps from 7:30 to 7. with this long stretch I am worried about my milk supply. I know all moms are different, but did you have any supply issues? Do you pump between these times?
Are you by chance using a double stroller you love?
