My Daily Skincare Routine for Radiant Skin
I am so excited to share my updated daily skincare routine for radiant looking skin. Over the past few months I’ve switched up a few products that I use, and the results have been incredible. After a consult with Kalen Ashford, owner of Ashford Cosmetics, we came up with a morning and evening skincare routine that is customized to my skin type.
This plan is also designed to help tackle a few key problem areas. My skincare goals include reducing pore size, eliminating redness, preventing fine lines and wrinkles and to focus on my T-zone. Ultimately, my goal is to feel confident in my skin and to go makeup free more often!

Morning Routine
ONE: ZO Skin Health Gentle Cleanser

This lightweight serum minimizes the appearance of pores. It features a dual-action formula which works to eliminate surface shine for an instantly matte finish. Introducing this into my skincare routine has been a game changer! I can already tell a huge difference in the appearance of my pores.
FIVE: Beautycounter Countertime Ultra Renewal Eye Cream
This high-performance eye cream revitalizes the eye area for a youthful, brighter appearance. A targeted combination of plant-derived Retinatural Complex and Persian silk tree extract reduces the appearance of under-eye shadows and crow’s feet for a smooth, firmed look.

SEVEN: Rozatrol Normalizing Serum
This serum is designed for red, sensitized skin. It works to reduce excess surface oil. Its exfoliating properties provide ultra-mild exfoliation to encourage cellular turnover and reduce the signs of premature aging.
EIGHT: Beautycounter Counter+ All Bright C Serum
This ultra-potent 10% blend of two forms of vitamin C instantly brightens skin and helps reduce the appearance of existing dark spots, while antioxidant-rich turmeric and camu camu extracts help protect against new ones. The formula also helps defend skin from the damaging effects of environmental stressors, revealing a more youthful looking complexion.
NINE: ZO Sunscreen and Primer
This sunscreen has zinc in it and is an SPF 30. I love that it has a slight tint to it. If I’m going makeup free this is enough to give my skin some color!
Evening Routine
ONE: Bille Makeup Remover Wipes
I have been using the Billie wipes for a few years now. I love the natural ingredients, and the effectiveness in actually removing my makeup! Plus, you can set them up on a recurring subscription and have them delivered to your door as frequently as you need them, all for a flat fee of $9.

This is the same cleanser from the morning. I like to use this after the Billie makeup remover wipes to get off an remaining dirt and oil that may be lingering on my face.

Helpful Tips
If you’re wanting flawless skin, start by drinking half your body weight in water daily. I also sleep on my Kitsch silk pillowcase every night. I love it so much that I pack it with me when I travel!
What I Use On An As-Needed Basis
One thing that I reintroduced into my skincare routine is the Elemis pro-collagen marine cream! Since using the retinoid, my skin has been drier than normal. This has helped renew moisture and eliminate dryness. I started using the Elemis Pro-Collage marine cream back in 2020. I love how creamy it is, and the cooling sensation feels great. I’m using the one without the SPF because I’m applying a sunscreen daily, but they do offer the pro-collage marine cream with SPF. I would recommend that one if you’re not incorporating an SPF into your daily routine.

Skincare Advice from Expert, Kalen Ashford
On the Life with Loverly Podcast, we sat down and chatted with Kalen all about skincare, botox, fillers and more! My biggest take away was that skincare products are not a one size fits all product. What works for one person, may not work for someone else, which is exactly why it’s important to see a professional. She also mentioned that our skin continues to evolve and change as we age. This means that a skincare routine that works great for you now, may not be the best option in two years. It’s important to continue to take inventory of what is working, while also keeping in mind that it’s never to early to prevent and never too late to treat!
