Your Ultimate Guide to Rosemary Beach

12 April |

I’m so excited to share my ultimate guide to Rosemary Beach. I visit Rosemary Beach multiple times each year! We’ve been going as a family for over a decade now. It’s truly a home away from home. A few years back we decided to invest in a rental property so that we would have a place to stay and create lasting memories. HERE is the post about the house, Isn’t She Loverly, and how to rent it!

In this guide, I’m breaking down the best places to eat, must-visit shops, and a few of my favorite things to do!

WHERE TO EAT

Charlie’s Cafe– We ate lunch here, and the Rosemary Club was so good! They also have great iced coffee! I loved their lavender oat milk latte, and Nichelle was a big fan of the honey oat milk latte.

Third Cup Coffee– This is a newer spot right across the street from Charlie’s Cafe. I love that they have both seating and a window that you can walk up to. They are known for their handmade syrups, which are so good!

Raw and Juicy– This is a breakfast spot we visit at least once every trip. It’s located in Alys beach, a short walk from our rental property. I love to get their egg biscuit! They also have an outdoor playground for the kids.

Amavida– This is the OG coffee shop that I love to visit!

George’s– This is a classic restaurant you have to visit! It’s family-friendly, and has GREAT food! They open at 4 pm. I recommend getting there right when they open for fast seating. If you’re open to waiting, they have an outdoor area with cornhole, a bar, and firepits that are great to hang out while you wait.

LaCo– If you’re looking for top-notch tacos, LaCo is it! This coastal Latin kitchen has a great variety of favorites for brunch, lunch, and dinner!

Pizza By the Sea– Whether you are grabbing a pizza to take home or want to eat by the beach, this pizza will not disappoint!

La Crema– They have tapas and fondue, and it’s so good! My mom and I have gone there a few times and we love it.

Edwards– Their service and food is top-notch!

The Citizen– This is a great option if you’re looking to eat out with a large party. If you have 8+ people you can reserve a table online. You can also get your name on the list, go do something else, and then come back. We will usually put our name on the list, get ready, and then come back! If you like oysters, theirs are amazing! They also have great cocktails and mocktails.

Donut Hole– This is a huge restaurant that offers donuts and also other breakfast foods!

Charlie’s Donut Truck – We went here on our team retreat, and we loved it!

Pescado– If you’re looking for a rooftop dinner in the downtown area, Pescado is a great option! The sunset views are truly incredible. They take reservations for the indoor dining room. The outdoor area is first come first serve.

Lola Coastal Italian– Their food is so good! I highly recommend checking out this restaurant for a nice dinner.

Fonville Press- A great place to stop for a coffee in the morning, or stop by in the afternoon and pick up a flatbread and a bottle of wine to go for a dinner at home. You can even stop for a cocktail with friends and peruse the specialty grocery items after a day on the beach.

Paradis- The perfect spot for an upscale dinner!

Cowgirl Kitchen- This is the perfect spot for breakfast and lunch – it’s an easy, laid-back environment to grab a meal before or after a few hours out on the beach!

Gallion’s– Another great choice for dinner. They have lots of small plates to share or you can get all the classic coastal favorites – there’s something for everyone!

Summer Kitchen Cafe – Located right across from The Pearl, if you are looking for a really great breakfast food this is the perfect spot!

WHAT TO DO

Picnic on The Beach– We love to use Fresco Picnic for an exclusive picnic on the beach. This is perfect for a special celebration or girls’ weekend!

Rent Bikes– If you’re staying near Rosemary Beach, I recommend renting bikes and bicycling to grab coffee or brunch in the morning!

Live Music on the Lawn– This is a great free family activity. Bring a blanket and find a spot on the lawn for an evening of entertainment.

Massages at Vivo Spa 30A– My mom and I love to treat ourselves to a spa day when we visit 30A! It’s the perfect way to unwind and get pampered!

Rent Chairs on the Beach– I highly recommend renting chairs if you are visiting during peak season, it gets crowded FAST! This is great if you have little ones so that you can have a designated space without having to wake up early to claim your spot.

Sunrise Beach Yoga– Whether you are on a bachelorette trip or a retreat with coworkers of friends, Beach Yoga 30a offers private yoga classes on the beach, at the pool, or even at your home! This is such a relaxing and incredible experience! Definitely worth adding to your itinerary and trip while you are visiting!

30a Arrange– While not something *to-do*, this is a concierge service that is definitely worth knowing about. I have used them to stock up the fridge before arriving and everyone I have worked with has always been so friendly and nice. This is so helpful especially if you’re flying in and aren’t bringing your own groceries for the week!

WHERE TO SHOP

The Rosemary Trading Company– This is a must-shop if you’re visiting Seaside for the first time! Be sure to grab a cozy sweatshirt for casual days. I wear mine a ton! I also love stocking up on gifts for the holidays from here.

Luminary Lifestyle– I love their selection of accessories and shoes! If you’re looking for a statement piece for your next date night, I highly recommend Luminary Lifestyle!

Disco– This boutique has great youthful options! If you’re looking for a pop of color or a fun accessory, be sure to stop inside Disco.

Willow Boutique– This is another favorite of mine! They have a great selection of timeless pieces!

Hidden Lantern- For all the book lovers out there, this is your place! A really cute bookstore with a decent size selection of so many different genres. They even have a full kids section in the back with so many books and games!
