Classic Spring Work Wear Look

Spring might just be one of my favorite seasons for work wear. I love that there are so many different options from dresses to skirts and pants, the combinations are endless. With the weather warming up I thought it was time to ditch the classic black pant and create a classic spring work wear look with a blazer and midi skirt!

I’ve talked about how much I love a great midi skirt as part of your core work wardrobe. In case you missed it, check out this post. Especially, a silk leopard printed one like this one from MudPie! The lavender color is perfect for spring, but could work all year long. I have it paired here with our favorite white camisole from Target and white blazer from Walmart’s new line, Free Assembly.

I grabbed my normal size, XS in the skirt and opted for a Small in the camisole. I would say both fit true to size. To give you a few more skirt options I’ve rounded up a my current favorites for you below!

It’s amazing how throwing on a simple white blazer can instantly elevate your work wear look. If you haven’t taken the time to invest in a blazer you love, I would suggest starting with this one! It’s super affordable, fits like a glove and the quality is excellent. This is also an easy way to transition any work wear look into spring. By adding a white blazer to a darker piece in your wardrobe, you instantly give it a breathe of fresh air!

Another option for a classic spring work wear look is layering this same white blazer over your favorite spring dress! This would be a great option if you have plans after work and don’t want to bring a change of clothes. Simply pack a denim jacket and sneakers and you can instantly turn a professional, office look in a casual date night look!
