Two Sweaters for Fall I’m Loving from Nordstrom

Fall fashion is officially in full swing! I’m kicking off the season of all things cozy with two amazing sweaters from Nordstrom that are too good not to share! Lately, I’ve been loving more classic pieces, in neutral colors, with a modern twist. Both of these check all those boxes. As I build upon my existing wardrobe, I’ve found that I’m on the hunt for those closet additions that are going to be staples for years to come. I always have the best of luck finding quality pieces at Nordstrom! I recently purchased a few great staple items during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale that compliment these two sweaters for fall perfectly.

This oatmeal light heather grey sweater with the center front stitching is such a classic piece that you will wear for years to come! It’s made by the Nordstrom made brand, Caslon, one of my go-to brands for wardrobe staples. I love that it’s super soft and has a slight high-low hemline. I’m wearing an extra small and it fits true to size. However, if you’re wanting a tunic style so that you can wear this with leggings, I would recommend sizing up.

I paired this sweater with my favorite distressed Top Shop Jaime jeans and rounded out the look with suede mules and a blush colored handbag. This is the perfect casual fall look for a date night, running errands on the weekend or even dinner with the girls! You could also layer this sweater over a dress and use a skinny belt to create a waistline. Another option would be to front tuck it into a skirt and add boots for fall!

I’m also equally as excited to wear this one as I am the heather oatmeal sweater! The statement sleeve on this sweater is so fun. I’m wearing a size extra small, however I wish I had purchased a small. I feel like if I had sized up one from my normal size, the sleeve would be a little more of a statement. If you like the look of a dramatic statement sleeve as well, I would recommend sizing up one from your normal size.

The ribbed material of this camel color sweater makes it slightly more light weight than the Caslon sweater. Therefore, this one would be good to wear now and into early fall, while I would recommend the oatmeal sweater for those cooler fall and winter days. This sweater would also look great with white jeans and these same mules for a summer to fall transitional look. You can also get away with wearing this to work with black dress pants and heels.
