kate spade new york Make It Mine Byrdie Bag + New Straps

11 October |

A few months ago I partnered with kate spade new york to share the Byrdie handbag. This bag is special to me because of it’s name but also because it’s very practical. You can change out the top flap to literally “make it yours” from outfit to outfit! I’m so exited to share that new flaps are available for fall and winter. Now is the time to give your bag a little face lift for the holidays. And if you don’t have a Byrdie bag yet, then add this baby to your Christmas List!

I have the black Byrdie bag so I tend to keep my flaps in the same color family. I have the black and white stripes, the denim and jewel combination and now I have the Reese Park Quilted option. I love the quilted flap because I think it’s prefect for dressing your outfit up or down. I like to carry smaller bags on date night with Chris so having the option to go with a more casual flap or one that is a little more dressy is great.

I’m styling the bag today with a dressy date night option. The jumpsuit is from ModCloth and it’s perfect for hiding the bump. I draped a faux leather moto jacket over my shoulders and added a light pink pump to soften the look. If you are going to a concert or office party anytime soon, this look would be perfect.

One other feature about the Byrdie bag that I love is the option for the crossbody strap. It’s easy to remove so you can carry the bag with or without. I tend to go without but I love knowing the option is there for me.

You can see what the other flaps look like by clicking here and here. Let me know if you have any questions about the bag and it’s flaps. I hope you love it as much as I do!
