Y’all know I love a good sale! In fact, that’s one of the reasons I started Loverly Grey almost 3 years ago. I wanted to share the sales and the things I was finding on sale with others. Today I’m goin to do just that by letting you know that ModCloth is having their Friends and Family Sale! I’ve shared several pieces from ModCloth over the past few months and I always get feedback from y’all saying, “Let us know when it goes on sale!” Well I’m here to tell you that all your favorites are currently on sale!
ModCloth is offering 30% OFF your purchase of $150 or more! This sale excludes previous markdowns. You will need to use code BFF30 at checkout and it ends on 9.26 at 11:59PM ET. So you still have plenty of time to shop and stock up on your ModCloth favorites!
I put an outfit together for today’s post that is a little more bold than what I would normally go for but I love trying new things so I figure, why not?! I started with a statement shoe – color block booties. I like the height of the heel and thought they would be great for wearing under bootcut or flare leg jeans this fall. They run true to size but if you plan to wear thick socks with them, I would size up a half size.
Next I wanted the actual clothing to be a little more practical so I have the option of wearing each piece by itself or the blouse and skirt with different shoes for work. The blouse has the sweetest peter pan collar and the color is a pale pink that’s great for fall. It has functional buttons and ruffle details on the sleeve. The blouse alone can be worn for both work and play! I’m wearing a small and would say it’s true to size. If you are between sizes or want a little more room, I would size up.
The skirt is what brings the whole bold look together. It’s a flowy, A-line skirt with a navy backing and reddish polka dot pattern throughout. It sits on your waist and has pockets!! I have the skirt pulled up a little higher to be over my belly (which totally works if you are pregnant and need a skirt for work). The material is a little thicker and will be great for the cooler fall months. I’m wearing a small and think it’s perfect but normally I would have gotten an XS so just stick with your normal size!
Im going to add a few of my favorite pieces that are part of the Friends and Family Event in a scrolling tab below. If you need any new wedding guest dresses for fall, halloween attire or accessories, you won’t want to miss this!
Thanks for stopping by! Today’s blog post is sponsored by ModCloth. As always, all options are my own!
