HOW I SPRUCED UP MY OFFICE WITH FURNITURE FROM THE HOME DEPOT

7 September |

My office has been a work in progress since we moved. Because I work from home full time, I wanted to get this space completed as soon as possible. I’m using some of the furniture from my old office (still on the hunt for a new desk) but needed a few new pieces too. Insert The Home Depot. It’s funny, because this isn’t the first time that I’ve decorated with home decor and furniture from The Home Depot. We had the cutest foyer setup at our last house that you can see here. I knew I would be able to find something stylish and functional from The Home Depot. Plus, who doesn’t love a challenge!

I’ll be sharing a full office reveal soon but couldn’t wait to share this little corner with you. We had built-in shelving in this corner when we moved in that I liked in general but didn’t love for the aesthetic of my office. They were dark and oversized and didn’t have the light and airy feel I was going for. We took them out and gave them to my brother and his wife. They look amazing at their house and that opened up a corner for me to decorate!

GOLD AND WOOD DRESSER \\ WHITE LAMP \\ WHITE CURTAINS

I still needed storage in this corner so I was on the hunt for a dresser/set of drawers that would be pretty and functional. I didn’t even think twice when I saw this wood and gold piece – so cute right? It came fully assembled, aside from the legs, which a really easy add on.

I was also looking for a lamp for the table. I love lamp light and wanted something simple that would distract from the rest of the room. The white base and gold detail made this lamp the perfect option!

Then last but not least, curtains! I had sheer white curtains in my last office and loved how they added softness to the room. The Home Depot had great options and the ones I selected were under $30 each! We have high ceilings throughout our house which means I needed the 108″ options. Those can be kind of hard to find in my opinion so I was happy to see them at a great price!

Everything in this space turned out great! Honestly, I didn’t envision my printer sitting on the top of this dresser, but this is an office so at least it is surrounded by other pretty things! The hats are hung with 3M hooks that you can buy at The Home Depot. Another option for hanging is nails. I’ve used them for other walls and it’s super easy and very cheap!

Today’s post is sponsored by The Home Depot. As always, all opinions are my own.
