Styling Pieces Multiple Ways

I’m all about thinking outside the box when it comes to fashion. Hence the signature sweater over dress look from yours truly. Mentally, I can justify purchasing a piece of clothing or an accessory if I know right off the bat I can style multiple ways. For all you women out there with husbands, this is also a really get tool for justifying why you needed yet another dress, (us women have to stick together)! Which is why I’m super excited to walk through your guide to styling pieces multiple ways!

SHOP THE LOOK

Here I’ve paired this tiered maxi skirt with a peplum eyelet blouse. I love the crisp white again this pretty red color. To accentuate my waist I added a woven belt, which also gives it a very spring feeling! Since I wanted a more elevated look I opted for heels and a clutch to complete the look. You could easily wear this into the office, on a date night, to church, or even to a shower!

3 Ways To Style a Maxi Skirt for Spring

When it comes to styling pieces multiple ways, I like to think of things I already have that I can pair with it. Since this skirt is a brighter color, a white bodysuit and tan sweater compliments it well. I love the texture on this one. You can leave it open, drape it over your shoulder or even tie it and drape it over your shoulder. Place the belt right over the waist line of the skirt and pair with these simple mule sandals.

Another way to style this skirt is to front tuck a loose, light weight sweater in the front. I love this boat neck one, because it has a summer time feel to it. For a more casual look, knot a graphic tee and drape a denim jacket over your shoulders. Add sneakers or sandals to complete the look!

3 Ways To Style An Eyelet Top for Spring

This top is so definitely a spring essential. The white eyelet is so sweet and easily pairs with so many things. I would also wear it with high waisted shorts and tuck it in. The bow from the shorts should side right along the peplum line, giving you a great waist line. This would be a super cute, casual date night look or if you’re doing a little afternoon shopping with your friends.

A few more options with be to do a monochromatic look with white jeans and stick to neutral accessories. This tans, blush pink, gold and woven textures. Or you can pair it with my favorite distressed mom jeans and a heel for a casual date night look.
