Our Baby Travel Favorites from Walmart

With holiday travel right around the corner, I wanted to share a few of our travel favorites for Collins. We will be traveling for Thanksgiving then again in December to see family before Christmas. We recently upgraded a few of our go-to pieces from Walmart and thought this might be helpful in case you are in the same boat.

First, we just bought the next size up carseat and went with the Chicco NextFit Convertible Carseat. We also have the Nuna Rava but between the two, I prefer the Chicco. It’s cheaper and a little easier to maneuver as far as pulling the straps go. It’s a great carseat that was a recommendation from close friends who just made the switch. We’ve been very impressed so far!

The next new buy was the Chicco Pack ‘n Play. We previously had the standard Graco Pack ‘n Play but Collins never slept that soundly in it. I think mostly because the mattress isn’t that stable but since it’s elevated, any moving she would do in the night would wake her up. One great benefit about the Chicco is that the mattress lays flat on the ground. We’ve used this Pack ‘n Play on two different occasion for several nights in a row and it’s been a game changer. This option comes with a changing pad that you can attach to the top if needed.

A few other things we always bring when we travel are the DOHM sound machine, a portable baby monitor, a baby carrier, diapers and wipes, our go-to diaper rash cream, high chair (this one is convertible) and Collins’ fav pouches. Of course there are several other things we take with us but these are the most important! We also love our Uppababy Vista Stroller. We’ve flown with it and use this travel bag to gate check it. Honestly, this stroller is our favorite baby item and the one we use literally every single day. It’s pricey so worth it!

Walmart has so many good baby brands. I love putting Collins in Little Planet Organic onesies. Their prices are also really great. Several things I’ve price checked with other sites and Walmart is usually always less expensive. When the price is right and the shipping is fast, what’s not to love about shopping at Walmart?

I hope this post has been helpful! Let me know what other baby related posts you want to see next!

Thank you to Walmart for sponsoring today’s post. As always, all opinions are my own.
