I have a feeling I will be very emotional today. My sweet little firstborn is one year old. I still remember the days of praying so hard for the chance to be a mom. Collins is our IVF miracle who I couldn’t be more in love with. Today, I’m reminded of everything we went through to bring her into this world. We are so incredibly lucky for the opportunity to be parents and couldn’t have asked for a better daughter. We love you so so much, little Bug.

Collins and I met up with our photographer and friend from college, Jessica Jane Photography to take a few mommy and me photos. I’ve been working with Jessica since we first announced we were pregnant with Collins and love the way she has captured our little girl over this past year. She was there for Collins’ birth and did an incredible job photographing all the details I wanted to remember. Honestly, cannot recommend a birth photographer enough. Jessica made us this video from her birth and I cry every time I see it. You can find me watching it on repeat today!
