WORKWEAR ESSENTIALS FOR SUMMER

I hope you LOVE this post as much as I loved creating it! OKAY SO – workwear is what got Loverly Grey started! I worked in a corporate office for four years before I left to blog full time. I was in sales and was required to wear business professional attire. Most of what I will be sharing will fall under that umbrella but I’ll also share a few ways these pieces can be worn in the business casual environment.

This post is all about buying a few key pieces and styling them several different ways to create multiple office-appropriate outfits. You could even use pieces that you have in your closet to complete the looks! I’m going to link all the pieces I’m sharing below then share several ways to style each piece. I will also be sharing details in a try-on session with all looks on my Instagram stories and will save that to the highlight bar on my Instagram profile so you can easily revert back!

Everything I’m sharing below fits true to size. I list out the size I am wearing next to each piece for reference. I’m also 5’5.

Leopard Dress – XS \\ Beige Cardigan – XS \\ Sam Edelman Pumps

Black Skirt – XS \\ White Blazer – O \\ Striped Cami – XS \\ White Blouse – Small – This blouse is not online yet but it’s by Prologue at Target.

Green Pants – 0P \\ Leopard Print Blouse – XS \\ Camel Tote – Gigi New York \\ Leopard Print Flats

Grey Dress – 2 \\ Blue Cardigan – XS \\ Gucci Belt

White Wide Leg Pants – 0

Black Pants – 2 \\ White Cami – XS

——————————————————————————————————————–

Which workwear look is your favorite? I hope this has been helpful and if nothing else, has given you some inspiration for what to wear to work this summer! I plan to continue sharing workwear and will even spice it up with a few more bold looks. I wanted to start with office-appropriate staple pieces that you can wear several ways. Let me know if you have any questions in the comments below!

You can find more workwear ideas under the SHOP > WORWEAR tab on www.loverlygrey.com.

I love how each piece is such a great basic but still feels fresh! It’s funny how even if you have pieces in your closet you can get in a rut. Once you see them styled in a different way helps to open your eyes to new possibilities and options.

I love this edition! You have given me new outfit ideas for items I already have and a few new items I need to get now to add to my closet. Really like seeing how you pair items together that I would never ever think of doing. Makes me feel like I actually have a “new” wardrobe. Appreciate all your hard work that went into this. Thank you!

This post was soooo great!! Seriously, great inspiration, thank you! I bought three items you highlighted!

I’m curious, I ran out and got the prologue shirt at my target….Curious why you got a small instead of your regular extra small? Ive purchased two sizes and I cannot decide which one to keep!

This is my favorite blog post! Thank you for posting cute work wear outfits! And especially how to wear an item multiple ways! I have already referenced back to this post several times since you posted it just last week to try to find similar items in my closet and how to style them! (Also, can’t my get eyes off the outfit in the first picture and the wide leg green pants so I will buying those tonight lol). Thanks for all you do and for the inspiration!
