Work Wear Wednesday – Pink Pants

Hello to my favorite day of the work week. I’m not sure why I love Wednesdays so much? I think because that means we are halfway through the week and are only a few days away from the weekend. I also love them because I’ve been sharing my favorite work looks with y’all. I’m thinking about upping the work looks to two times per week. I would love your feedback on if that’s something you would like.

I’ve been sharing a ton of pink this year and I just don’t see that ending anytime soon. #sorrynotsorry?! I’ve found so many great pink pieces that are all perfect in their own way. Most recently, I stumbled upon these pink pants when I was doing a recent LOFT try on session. Y’all…these are GOOD!

Right off the bat, let me tell you about sizing. LOFT pants run really big. I normally wear a double zero or zero in work pants. In LOFT work pants, I size down to a double zero petite. Thankfully I’m 5’5 so the petite length still works great. Regardless of your height, I would suggest sizing at least one size in their pants for work.

The style of these pants are the Slim Cut Pants in Marissa Fit. The Marissa has a slightly straighter cut from waist to hip and the Julie Fit is more curvy, smaller at the waist and rounder in the hips. Most pants offered at LOFT come in both fits so no matter your body type, there is something for you! Speaking of this, did you see that LOFT is about to launch a plus size line? That’s so exciting!!

Today I’m pairing the pink pants with my favorite floral top of the season. I’ve shared this blouse several times on my stories but I just love it so much and know it will be the perfect floral for Spring. Plus, it’s snowing in Atlanta today so any hint of warmer weather is great!

I went with my normal size in this blouse. It’s definitely more flowy in the waist and has the cutest peplum detail. I love it paired with pants for work but you could easily trade a pencil skirt for the pants or even add jeans on the weekend.

As for the rest of my look, I went with my favorite nude pumps. These shoes are great if you want to wear a heel to work. They match everything and are incredibly comfortable. I also just got this grey crossbody in the mail from Sole Society and figure it would be a fun addition to today’s look. This crossbody will also look great when you style the floral blouse with jeans and flats for Weekend Brunch!
