Work Wear Wednesday – $23 Top

Hey Friends!! It’s been a while since I’ve seen you here. We have been packing, moving and now unpacking within the last week so I’m sorry that my posts on the blog have been scarce. Since it’s Wednesday, that means it’s Work Wear Wednesday! Today’s look is featuring a $23 top that can be worn so many ways this spring and summer!

Any easy way to wear your work wear is by first investing in good work pants. I loved to find a few pairs of pants that I loved and when they would go on sale, I would buy them in all their color options. You at least cannot go wrong by having black and navy in your closet.

The pants I have pictured here are some of my all time favorites. They are the Marissa fit from LOFT. I love their cropped skinny pants and think they are perfect for work! I always suggest sizing down at least on size in pants from LOFT. I usually go down to petite in mine.

Today I’ve paired my navy pants with the cutest flowy top from Forever 21. Forever 21 used to be so hit or miss for me but lately I’ve found so many cute things. This top is great for work. It’s lightweight and easy to also pair with a pencil skirt. Not only can you wear it to work, but you can also wear it on the weekends to brunch or with white jeans for a summer concert. I can’t wait to show you a few other ways to style this top as the weather warms up.

Today I’m wearing this outfit with heels but you could easily trade the heels for flats. I love any flats with a pointed toe for work. I think they just look a little more put together. I love the Jessica flats from Sole Society and if you are daring, you should try the Libry Bejeweled flat from them too. They are sooo cute!

I’m topping the look off with the cutest little mini handbag. I like to switch up my bags from time to time and if I know I would have a ton to carry at work, I’ll go for a smaller bag that compliments my outfit. Why should tiny bags be reserved for going out or the weekend only??
