What I Wore In Greenwich, A New England Getaway
Hi friends! I just got back from a quick trip to Greenwich, Connecticut, and had so much fun styling early fall looks for this cozy New England getaway. I’ve gotten in some amazing pieces lately that I was so excited to pack for a week of adventures. From antiquing and boat rides to dinner dates, these versatile finds worked for so many different moments and can be styled countless ways. Let’s dive in!
We got caught in a few rain showers throughout the day, so I was excited to put this cinched trench coat to the test—and it was fabulous! It’s the perfect lightweight layer to have on hand this time of year. Chic, functional, and easy to throw on over just about anything, which is always a win in my book!
For a cute daytime look spent shopping and strolling around town, I kept things simple but elevated. One of my biggest packing tips is to always bring a basic white tee. You never know when you’ll need it! It’s such an easy foundation piece and pairs effortlessly with just about anything.
I wore this gorgeous brown maxi to dinner one night, and it ended up being one of my favorite looks from the trip! I love the textured fabric and the beautiful movement through the bodice. To add a little pop of color, I tied a satin scarf around my waist and finished the look with beaded jewelry. It’s simple, but still feels so special!
I had to share these two standout pieces I loved styling on this trip! This gingham bomber jacket has been one of my favorite Amazon finds of the season. The color and pattern are so cute, and I love that it’s lightweight enough for early fall. And how fun are these yellow suede slides?! They’re such a great transitional shoe for this time of year.
Blue and brown have been one of my favorite color combinations this season, and this dress does it so beautifully! The pattern is stunning, and the silhouette is incredibly flattering. It’s one of those versatile pieces you can easily dress up or down depending on the occasion.
