It’s that time of year where your weekends become filled with wedding and after wedding. It’s so much fun to see your best friends getting married and to help them celebrate their union. What to wear is another story! Today on the blog, I’ve teamed up with Nordstrom to share some of my favorites options for wedding guests. I’m including cocktail and black tie options and will also share a few great bridesmaids looks too! Let this be a reference point for all the weddings you have coming up this season!

When I attend weddings, I tend to dress on the fancier side of things. I prefer long dresses over short and I like options that allow you to move around on the dance floor! In my selections below, I’ve included both long and short options. I’ve also broken the categories down to subcategories so you can go right to what you are looking for!

I’ve also included a section for bridesmaids. I personally would wear and plan to wear some of these options to the upcoming weddings we have this year. For example, the dress I’m wearing in the photos would make a great bridesmaid dress or a great wedding guest dress. As a bride, selecting a dress that your maids can wear a second or third time is ideal. I personally went this route and actually ended up wearing the dress myself to an event earlier this year!

One reason I love shopping at Nordstrom for wedding guest dresses and bridesmaid dresses is because they have an alterations team that will make your dress perfect if you need to make any changes prior to the big day. I’ve personally used their services for tailoring and loved the convenience of being able to buy and alter under the same roof. Some of the bridesmaid dress options would even be cute if you cut the length down for a future event!
