Walmart Swimsuit Review

I found the cutest Walmart swimsuits last year (click HERE to see) and I’m excited to share my favorites with you from their 2019 selection. I tend to go for the high waisted bikini or one piece suit because I think they are the most flattering on me right now. I will be sharing details on six swim options plus accessories! All details will be listed out below!

First up is the only lower waisted option, a black scalloped two-piece. I have been loving scalloped details on swimsuits this season. The top is a bralette style with padding. It’s very comfortable and stays in place while swimming. I’m wearing a small in the bottoms (I sized down one) and a medium in the top. The top runs true to size but the bottoms are a little big. I ordered two sizes and easily returned the size that didn’t fit to my local Walmart. I also love this black and white striped coverup – its sheer and perfect for the pool!

I really like this suit! I love the high waist and the cut out detail on each side! The lemon print is really fun for summer. I have on a medium in the top (typically wear size 34C bra) and it’s a little big. I don’t think the small would fit so if you are between sizes I would go up. The top is all padded and feels similar to a padded wireless bra – very comfy! The bottoms are true to size, I’m wearing a medium. There is great bottom coverage with this suit.

My first thought when I saw this striped one piece suit was that it would be perfect for the 4th of July! It has a white background with blue and red striped. The front is held together with a tie closure off to the side. This suit is ideal for nursing if you are in the stage of life. I would say this suit runs a little on the small size, especially if you are well endowed. I found myself trying to pull this to cover up my boobs a little more than it does. I think it will probably be best on someone with a smaller chest. I am wearing a size medium and otherwise would say it’s true to size. The back is a little cheeky as well. You can easily wear one of your white button ups as a cover up and will link a few options from Walmart.

The next suit is a little sportier and is the most comfy out of the six options. The top is reversible with stripes on one side and solid blue on the other. It’s fully padded on top and fits true to size. I’m wearing a medium and would say to size down in this top if you are between sizes. The high waisted bottoms are great, have full coverage in the back and fit true to size. I’m wearing medium.

I love the idea of this yellow one piece but it’s not for someone with bigger boobs. I had to really work to not have my boobs hang out of the bottom of this one. This is another great option for someone with a smaller chest. The neck tie is removable which turns this suit into a strapless one piece – so cute! The back coverage is great! I also think this suit could work for you if you are pregnant, I would just size up one size. I’m wearing medium. I’ve paired this suit with white denim shorts that run a little big. I suggest sizing up one!

I’ve loved this suit! I took it to the beach in May and couldn’t get over how comfy it was. The bottoms are true to size and have full bottom coverage. The top has adjustable straps, built in padding (not removable) and a fun, unique back. I’m wearing a medium in this top and would say to size down if you are between sizes. There is a little extra room on the sides.
