I’ve had a major crush on everything velvet lately! I’m sure my mom is laughing at the fact that velvet is back in style. I remember a picture from when I was about 5 years old where my mom and her cousin were laughing and having the time of their lives in their black velvet dresses! Here we are, almost 25 years later and i’m loving velvet just as much as they did!

I recently purchased this crushed velvet dress in Charleston at the Impeccable Pig on King Street. I feel in love with this dress for a dew reasons. 1. The color. 2. The shape + it has pockets! Insert praise hands here. 3. The price! This dress is under $40! I couldn’t believe it…It also comes in a burgundy velvet as well.
