This weekend in Atlanta, snow up to six inches was predicted for our area. Sadly when we woke up on Saturday morning, there was hardly any snow, but lots of ice. Although we didn’t have the winter wonderland that was promised, we had a great time staying inside and doing absolutely nothing.

Well absolutely nothing is a stretch…we did a lot of relaxing and binge watching Netflix. It was honestly perfect. I was a little sad because I was supposed to host a Bridal Shower for my dear friend, Amanda. Due to the uncertainty of the weather conditions, the bridesmaids and I decided last minute to reschedule to a later date. I know that her shower will be even more perfect on this new date. With that being said, I would love some tips from y’all on the best bridal shower tips. If you have ever hosted one or been part of hosting, what did you do to make the shower special?

This outfit reminds me of a snowy January day. My sweater is Free People and I purchased it over Christmas from Nordstrom. This color has since sold out at Nordstrom but i’ve linked it through a few other retailers with different color options (some are even on sale)! The ice blue color of the sweater is beautiful! I’ve paired it with my favorite white distressed skinny jeans, pumps and a clutch! Talk about a cozy outfit to wear to dinner or brunch with the girls. You will need to wear a cami under this sweater as it is lightweight and won’t keep you warm just by itself. I ordered an XS and it still gives off an oversized look.
