It’s been a good thing with Walmart lately. Like a really good thing. I’ve been extremely impressed with their quality lately and based off your messages and emails to me, y’all have been too!

A little back story. I started working with Walmart in November of 2017. I was excited that a HUGE brand was interested in partnering and have worked with them every month since then. I recently received a message from someone saying how Walmart just didn’t seem “on brand” for Loverly Grey and they were questioning why I was partnering with them. Little did they know that growing up, A LOT of my shopping was done at Walmart. I loved thrill of trying to find the best items and figure out ways that I could make their pieces work for me and my style. I was just talking with by best friend from high school said she loves seeing me share items from Walmart because it reminds her of when we used to shop there in high school. Crazy how these things can come full circle.

At the end of the day, I ONLY promote and share items that I actually LOVE and would wear if there was no #ad associated with the post. Part of my job is to find fun, unique and well priced items that I personally love and want to style for YOU to use as inspiration. I love a good challenge and the pieces I’m finding at Walmart, has been just that. It certainly helps that they have stepped up their game when it comes to their women’s fashion offerings. As always, I’m excited to bring the latest and greatest from Walmart to you!

Today I’m sharing several sweater that are all under $20! I have been EXTREMELY pleased with their fall sweater selection and love all the new arrivals they are pushing out. One that is at the top of my list is this mock-neck sweater. How perfect is it paired with black flare jeans? The Sofia Vergara collection has been amazing for my denim game too. This sweater available in several colors and has already made it’s way around to a couple of outfits in my closet. I’ll be doing a try on of all these sweaters in stories today so make sure you stay tuned to that!

I also post a lot of styled content exclusively to the LiketoKnow.it App, including a huge selection of my Walmart finds. You can easily follow me (@loverlygrey) there.

Today’s post is sponsored by Walmart. As always, all opinions are my own! Photos by Naomi Hopkins Photography

  1. Love this! I’ll be honest, I never once even consider clothes shopping at wal mart until I started following you on IG. I actually bought this sweater and the striped colorblock one after seeing you model them and love them! Who cares where the clothes come from as long as you look good! ??‍♀️

  2. I personally LOVE your mixture of affordable and splurge items! Everyone is at different levels of what they can afford. I started following you because of your style and stay because of your ability to provide a range of options and price points. You breathe new life into my existing wardrobe and help me build on my style in an imaginative and budget-friendly fashion!! Loveeeee your work?

  3. I love your Walmart options! They’ve the cutest stuff the last couple of seasons. So happy you post clothing from affordable places! Loved this post!

  4. Clothes don’t have to be crazy expensive to be in fashion. I love that you actually wear the items you post about, I love that we see you on stories wearing something from Walmart. I love Target but Walmart is really stepping it up. And there are some trends that I don’t want to invest a ton of money on, which makes Walmart a great go to for me! Keep doing you!

  5. Love you & what you represent. Different from your other reader that said Walmart didn’t seem on brand for, I have kept my opinion to myself (until now I guess). I personally skip through your Walmart stuff because I know I will not shop there until they treat their employees well, whether in the US or their factory workers in China. I’ve done lots of research & personally don’t agree with their treatment of employees. However, I give them kudos for recently refusing to sell certain guns & ammo after the shooting in El Paso, & they stopped selling e-cigarettes & vape products. They are making strides in the right direction, so never say never! All that to say, I don’t judge you at all for shopping there & providing good options to your readers. To each their own.

  6. I’ve been loving your Walmart posts. Great style and unbelievable price. But most of the items sell out online so fast and aren’t available to ship. There aren’t any Walmart’s in NYC, such a bummer to miss out!

  7. I am grateful that you turned me on to Walmart! I have bought several items from your suggestions and hope this “good thing” keeps going. I’m a retired teacher who still loves to keep up with her young adult daughters and now they are living the styles you post! Thanks! I’d have NEVER shopped there had it not been for you!

  8. I have to say thank you so much for showing affordable pieces from Walmart. I have bought 4 new sweaters this season that I normally would have never even considered buying but seeing them actually styled on someone rather than just on a hanger changes everything!

  9. I think it shows how knowledgeable you are about fashion! It doesn’t take that much to pick a few well-known, respected brands and style their clothes. While there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that, being able to go in any store, at any price point and pick out pieces that will work well for your followers shows a lot more intentionality and talent! I’m thankful that you have a broad range of pieces and price points. I’m 48, Controller of an IT company, love your site and fashion sense, and I find myself trying many of the pieces you style. So you go girl! Wal-Mart, Target, Loft, Nordstrom, Brahmin, I’m not worried about the brand, just the fit and quality!!
    Thanks!

  10. Thank you for sharing from Walmart. I enjoy seeing how you style each piece. I’m for sure a turtleneck/jeggings/jeans type and some of the pieces from Walmart are ???. For a quick outfit update I love Walmart brands. (I’ve purchased more $$$items and sometimes the Walmart/Target brands hold up better..jmo) So thanks again…?Your style!

  11. I ordered from Walmart for the first time this week because of you! I’m a diehard Target girl ?! Target was my Walmart growing up… I did what you did… trying to pick the best pieces. So, I’m excited about trying your rec’s. Seeing the items in your stories makes a huge difference. Thx for sharing! xo

  12. I LOVE and appreciate the super cute, affordable options you share from Walmart! Seriously, soooo happy you do this!
