MUST HAVE FALL DRESSES

One of favorite pieces to wear in the fall is a dress. It’s perfect for those transitional months when you are ready to move away from bold summer colors and into more earthy tones. You can easily style a dress with suede knee high boots or a faux leather jacket to give it a fall feel. In both outfits, I opted to add a quilted crossbody that can double as a clutch. I love the rich color, and it’s the perfect size.
If you’re on the hunt for the perfect fall midi dress, these are both great options! The v-neck long sleeve sweater dress on the left can easily go from work to weekend. I have it paired with strappy heels for an elegant look. If you’re wanting a more casual feel, add sneakers and a denim jacket. The look on the right is the same dress from above styled with an oversized cardigan. This cardigan comes in four colors and is stunning in person. I love the mixed stitch detailing!

A floral dress is a must have in the fall. They are extremely versatile! Pair them with knee high boots for a date night look, or add pointed toe heels for a workwear look. For a business casual fall look, style the floral dress on the right by layering a cardigan over the top and trading out the heels for flats.

This plaid skirt had my heart as soon as I laid eyes on it! I love how you can easily dress it up or down. In the look on the left I styled it casually with a graphic tee and sneakers. In the look on the right I dressed it up with knee high suede boots and a camel colored dolman sweater. This would be a great workwear look as we move into cooler months! I am shocked that this plaid shacket hasn’t sold out yet. Shackets were all the rave last fall. I predict they aren’t going anywhere anytime soon! Pair this cozy one with faux leather leggings and ankle booties for a comfortable fall outfit.

Free People is one of my favorite brands to shop during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. They always have a great selection of cozy fall favorites. I have a feeling this Free People sweater is going to be a wardrobe staple of mine. It has a natural oversized fit, making it very comfortable. It also comes in black. Style it with jeans or leggings for a cozy fall look.
I have been loving these faux leather pants for fall! The slight flare and ankle length are very flattering. They look great when styled with a sweater, like this bright pink off the shoulder one. This is a perfect date night or girls night out look! You could also pair these pants with a printed blouse and heels for a workwear look.
