Everything You Need to Know About the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2022
The sale that we’ve all been waiting for is almost here. The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale begins in just two weeks! This is my favorite sale of the year. You have the opportunity to purchase fall new arrivals from brands we love at a discounted price. I have been shopping the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale for years and have picked up a few tips and tricks that I’m excited to share with you. I’m covering everything you need to know about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2022. This is your ultimate guide for how to prep for the sale, eliminate the overwhelm and make a game plan . Before we dive into all the details about the sale, I want to take this time to remind you that you don’t need everything that will be shared during this sale. I will be sharing a variety of items to help inspire you and show you just how versatile a single piece can be. My hope is to be a resource for you, so that you can pick up a few key pieces that will be worth every penny spent. I have items that I’ve picked up in past year’s sales that I wear season after season. Below you’ll find all my tips and tricks for how to shop smart and build the perfect fall wardrobe!
What Is The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?
The Nordstrom Anniversary sale is the only sale that allows you to shop new arrivals for the upcoming season at a discounted price. The sale is tiered to allow those that spend the most with Nordstrom throughout the year to shop first. This is their way of saying thank you to their valued customers and also making sure that customers don’t flood the site and break it. To see what tier you are click here.
Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Dates
The preview lookbook will be released June 29th. This is a sneak peek at the items that are going to be a part of the sale. I recommend creating a free account with Nordstrom, so you can save items that you love to your wishlist. This makes the checkout process during the sale quick and easy. This way you can checkout with your must-have items first and then go back and browse the sale for more items. I’ve made the mistake of not doing this in the past and items that were in my cart would sell out while I was browsing.
June 29: The digital catalogue is LIVE! You will be able to Preview everything online that will be part of the Anniversary Sale.
July 6: Early Access for Icon Status Nordstrom Cardholders
July 7: Early Access for Ambassador Status Nordstrom Cardholders
July 9: Early Access for Influencer Status Nordstrom Cardholders: If you have a Nordstrom Card, you can shop during this time! This is the ideal time to shop. Tons of items sell out during this time frame and not everything restocks unless there is a return somewhere in the system. If you don’t already have a Nordstrom Credit Card, you can sign up here! Right now, you can get a $60 bonus note that you can use during the sale if you make your first purchase the day you open your Nordstrom card.
July 15th: Nordstrom Sale open to the public! Prices go back to full price on August 1st.

July 31: Last day to shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.

Your Fall Wardrobe Checklist
The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is a great time to stock up on essentials for fall! It’s the only time that items are marked down before the season starts. Think boots, jackets, designer handbags, denim and all things fall. My recommendation is to take inventory of you closet. Is it time to replace those old worn out jeans? Maybe you had your eye on a pair of neutral booties last year but never hit that check out button. This is also a great time to clean out your closet and purge! Once you know exactly what you have and what you need, start making your wishlist. I recommend determining your budget and leaving a little wiggle room in case you see something that catches your eye. I’ve included a list of fall essentials that every woman needs in their wardrobe. Use this as a guide to help you map out your game plan!

Tips + Tricks For Shopping the Sale
SHOP FAST! If you see something you like, check out as soon as possible! The best part about Nordstrom is their free shipping, so you can make several purchases and not have to worry about shipping costs. So if you are swiping up in Instagram Stories or browsing through the LIKEtoKNOW.it app, make sure you are checking out fast! Items won’t stay in your cart long and you don’t want to miss out on snagging your favorite styles.
SHOP SMART! There will be so many items on sale and it can get very overwhelming. I suggest going in with a list of items that you know you want (booties, new denim and coats) and purchase those items first. I usually buy new sneakers, workout clothes, a nice fall/winter coat, denim that will last through the season and fall shoes. Remember, everything will be brand new and marked down up to 40% OFF! I will be showcasing the best of the best from the sale. No need to search every page of the Nordstrom website – leave the hard work to me!

One of my main shopping tips for the sale is to maximize your bonus notes, which is a major perk Nordstrom offers. As a Nordy Club member you earn points for every dollar you spend. The sale is a great time to use your double points day. You want to maximize your points on the day you plan to spend the most so that you can earn notes!
