Target Slip Dress 6 Ways: How to Style
One of my favorite things to share is how to style the same piece in multiple ways. Keep reading to see six different ways I styled this slip dress from Target!
First up, we have the dress on its own, of course! Slip dresses have timeless silhouettes and look beautiful by themselves. But when it comes to re-wearing and getting the most out of your piece, that’s when styling really comes into play.
For this look, I added a cream sweater over the dress. Layering a sweater on top can make the dress look like a skirt and completely transform the piece. I chose leopard print shoes to break up the solids throughout the outfit!
Layering isn’t just for over pieces—it works for underneath as well! I added this adorable mesh lace top under the dress. It’s a great way to elevate the look and take this dress up a notch!
Next up is one of my favorites—a monochromatic look! This sweater has a fuzzy texture, adding some extra interest to the outfit. This look would also be great for a holiday party!
Styling a blazer over a simple dress is always a reliable choice. It adds a polished, chic touch to the outfit. I love the sequins on this blazer—they’re so fun for a night out!
Last up, I paired this wine-colored sweater over the dress. The sweater has a snug waistband, so I actually folded it under to achieve this look. It’s super easy to do and I love how it looks!
