One of the best things about moving, is decorating a new space! As I’ve been dreaming up different ways to make our house feel like a home it’s been super helpful to create these design boards. I knew I wanted to ditch some of the look alike items and focus on great, quality pieces that would last a bit longer, and stand the test of kids! Because of this I partnered with One Kings Lane!

Friends, I can’t believe their selection when it comes to furniture! I’ve had my eye on a canopy bed for a while now and they have so many options to choose from!. I love the clean lines and impact that a canopy bed makes in a room. Add a striped chair for interest, use textured dressers as night stands and complete the look with an impactful light fixture.

One of the best ways to make a room feel warm and cozy it to mix textures. The wood bed alongside the linen dresser and paired with the leather poofs are all different while complimenting each other.

I also love this huge ottoman. I can just see myself cozying up on the couch watching Netflix, cuddling with the girls and kicking my feet up on it! Did I mention it’s completely kid friendly, no sharp edges to worry about.

1. Layer a natural fiber rug with crisp white chairs or white sofa.
2. Add a bookshelf and floor lamp for a cozy feel!
3. Have fun with your pillows, really let your personality shine.
