Happy 4th of July!
Hi Friends!! Happy 4th of July!! I hope you have fun plans that include picnics, fireworks and lots of red, white & blue! We are packing up and leaving Kiawah today. The only bad part about the 4th being in the middle of the week is having to go to work the day. Our adventure this past weekend was so much fun. Chris works with Vanessa (from The Cheeky Been) and her fiance, Shane and we have all been on company trips together but this was the first time we all went on a real vacation together. The guys had a blast golfing and Vanessa and I could stay by the pool the rest of summer if that was an option!
Last night we went to dinner at Jasmine’s Porch at the Sanctuary. The filet was unbelievable! I wore this really bright, tropical dress made by Hutch. It’s finally available at Anthropologie (also comes in white with a floral bottom). I love the fitted top with the flowy skirt at the bottom. It was breezy and would be a great dress for a wedding. The skirted bottom is fully lined. I think it’s true to size and I am wearing an XS. I paired my favorite aqua necklace (color is called aqua – sale for $40) with this dress as a statement piece and it matches the coloring in the skirt perfectly. With a dress like this one, you don’t want a necklace that is too busy – meaning there are multiple different stones or colors, but I like to have something to break up the solid top.
