Creating a Cozy Outdoor Living Space
I’m so excited to share our patio reveal with you all. I have a feeling we are going to be having a lot of patio chats this spring over on Instagram stories, because this is definitely my new favorite spot. It’s like a little oasis, right outside our door. I’m showing you exactly how you can create your own cozy outdoor living space on your patio or porch!

When it comes to designing an outdoor living space the same rules apply for inside. You want it to be a reflection of you and your unique style. Personally, I love for my home to be a peaceful place. So I tend to do a lot of neutrals and will opt for subtly pops of color in things like pillows and accessories that can easily be swapped out depending on the season.
When we moved into our house one of the things I loved most is our patio! I love having a space where I can curl up, after the girls have gone to bed, with a glass of wine and a good book. Even if it’s just fifteen minutes, having that time to myself to relax and regroup is much needed for my mama soul.

Although it’s nice to enjoy this space all on my own, I also wanted it to be a spot where we could sit out here with friends or family and hang out. That’s why we opted for multiple chairs, to allow for easy conversation flow. We added in some small side tables to have a place to set your drink on. When it comes to outdoor living space, I like to think practically first and then add in the pieces that make the space really come to life! In case you are in the market for a new patio set, I’ve rounded up a few of my favorites for you below.
SHOP OUTDOOR FURNITURE
Once you have your patio furniture selected, it’s all about make the space extra cozy! I recommend adding a rug, a few side tables and some fun pillows. This is where you can really showcase your personality. Don’t be afraid to mix and match colors and patterns here. For the finishing touches, add in some greenery, live or faux, either works great. Now grab a glass and pour your favorite libation over ice and you’re ready to relax and enjoy your cozy outdoor living space!

This jumpsuit is one of my favorite recent spring finds. It’s super comfortable and less than $40. I love that the straps are wide enough to wear a normal bra with it and I can easily go from lounging around the house to date night ready by trading out my sandals for a cute pair of heels! I am wearing my normal size, extra small, and would say it runs true to size.

Absolutely beautiful!! We have those same outdoor curtains and have had them for 10 years now! I have them dry-cleaned at the end of the season and they come clean just like new!!
