I am loving the warm weather we have been having here in Georgia! Anytime it rises above 70 degrees outside, I instantly want to throw on a dress and sandals. WHY I LOVE A CASUAL SPRING DRESS

As soon as I spotted this dress on Nordstrom’s website, I instantly added it to my cart. I have to admit, the calico floral print is even prettier in person! The back features a smocking detail and a small keyhole. I love that the smocking gives you a secure feeling, and the keyhole is placed strategically so that you can still wear a normal bra. Another favorite feature of this maxi dress are the adjustable straps!

For all my mama friends, the buttons are functional, making it nursing friendly. You also have room in the mid section. I would say if you’re in the beginning or middle of your pregnancy this would work with your baby bump.

I love a dress in the spring months. Not only are they versatile, but comfortable too! This Free People dress has a looser fit, making it a great option for those warmer days. Spring is generally warm for us, but if you’re in a cooler climate, I have a few tricks for how you can style this dress as you wait for warmer days ahead. My go-to look in the spring is layering a light wash denim jacket over a dress. Complete the look by adding neutral sandals or white sneakers. Another option is to add a lightweight cropped sweater or cardigan. I especially love this one!
