Asheville, NC – Asheville Outlets – Grand Bohemian Hotel Review

19 October |

Last week Anna and I ventured to Asheville, North Carolina. If you haven’t been to Asheville, I highly recommend you add this destination to your list. I had been previously but it had been a little while so going back was an exciting opportunity for me to experience the city that so many love and recommend visiting.

The purpose of our trip was to shop at the Asheville Outlets. I partnered with them to experience outlet shopping and bring light to their location and share some of the stores they have to offer! I personally love outlet shopping and frequently visit the outlets that are close to me. Since so many people travel from all over to visit the Biltmore Estate, and Asheville in general, knowing that an outlet mall is close by is great.

While in Asheville, we stayed at the Grand Bohemian Hotel in the Biltmore Village. The location was perfect because it was right outside of the gates to get into Biltmore Estates. There were several shops and restaurants close by too.

The hotel itself was very nice. If you have never stayed at an Autograph Collection Hotel, you are in for a treat. The Grand Bohemian doubles as an Art Museum. They have art for purchase hanging on all of the walls throughout the building. They also have a museum that’s located off the lobby for easy viewing. If art is your thing, this is the hotel for you!

Anna and I stayed in a room with double beds and a large bathroom and sitting area. There was plenty of space for us to stay comfortable plus store all of our bags. As a fashion blogger, I tend to overpack so the extra space was really nice! We enjoyed breakfast in our room one of the mornings. The food was great but if you are in town to visit and explore Asheville, I would recommend trying a few restaurant that serve breakfast. It’s great to know that in room dining is an option though!

Overall, I loved the experience at the hotel and would 100% recommend it and stay there again! Thank you for having us, Grand Bohemian Asheville!

THINGS TO DO / PLACES TO EAT

I received several recommendations of things to do and places to eat in Asheville. The first obvious choice would be to visit the Biltmore Estate. The property itself is amazing and there are several restaurants and hotels throughout the property for you to experience. The Estate was beautiful! So much thought and detail went in to designing the house. If you are planning a trip I would suggest going at Christmastime because the decorations are unbelievable!

If you are into breweries, Asheville is a great place for you! We didn’t stop at any on this trip because I wouldn’t have been able to enjoy them since I’m pregnant, but next time for sure!

We ate at a few great restaurants while we were there. The first night we ate at Corner Kitchen. I highly recommend this spot for dinner. The food was amazing and very unique. We shared several small plates (which is one of my favorite ways to enjoy a meal) so we were able to try a lot. They also serve breakfast and lunch, which both look amazing from the menus online.

We had lunch on the Biltmore Property after visiting the Estate on day two. I didn’t realize how many shops and restaurants the property had. We ate at Village Social for lunch and really enjoyed that meal! The she-crab soup was the die for! They are located just a short car ride from the Estate in Antler Hill Village.

Two other spots we tried were Hole Doughnuts for breakfast and Well-Bred for lunch. Both incredibly tasty spots that are local to Asheville! I received several recommendations for other restaurants, we just didn’t have time to check them all out. CLICK HERE to read the comments from the post where everyone shared there favorites with me.

We had a great time visiting Asheville, shopping at the Asheville Outlets and staying at the Grand Bohemian. Until next time, Asheville!

  1. I just love Asheville! My uncle actually manages the bar at the Grand Bohemian (yet, somehow I still haven’t been!) It’s on my list for next time!
