I’ve been on a flare leg pants kick lately. I’ve especially been all about flare jeans so I figured I would share an oldie but goodie look for your work wardrobe – The Flare Pants.

I’ve been wearing flare pants to work since I started in the corporate world and I’ve tried plenty of different options. My favorites always turned out to be from The Limited, the Exact Stretch Flare. You could only order them online unless you were lucky enough to stumbled across a returned pair in store in your size. I had these pants in every color they offered.

Sadly, The Limited recently filed for bankruptcy and is no longer around….so i’ve set out to find you the next best flare pants for work! My first two stops are at Loft and Banana Republic. Between those three retailers, I was able to stock up on tons of pants for work.

When I shop for pants at Loft I usually have to size down a size or two (i usually go with a 00) and sometimes move over to petites (i’m 5’5″). Their Julie Trousers are my go-to for wide leg pants. They do offer a great selection of colors and once you get your size right, you can order all the colors online! Here are the black pants I would recommend adding to your wardrobe first! I love their pants because they hold up really nicely. I recommend dry cleaning or washing them on the delicate cycle on your washing machine and hanging to dry.

Now at Banana Republic, I love the Logan-Fit Light Wool Pants. These ones have great structure and almost always have a matching blazer if you are looking for a suitable top. I am pretty true to size in these ones almost always wearing a size 0 regular. They also have a great color selection. I really like these black ones and these navy ones (two colors of pants you should always have on hand)!

I love pairing wide leg pants with a cami (this one is from Loft) and blazer. It’s obviously really warm right now in Atlanta so that’s all you need but in the actual cooler months I would go with a v-neck sweater and blazer to stay warm! This blazer from Banana Republic is my go-to. I also have it in pink and love it for spring!

I am not a huge black shoes girl so I almost always pair everything with a nude pump. This pair is perfect with this outfit!

So that’s my #workwearwednesday look of the week! What’s your favorite style of pants for work?
