White Shorts for Spring from JCPenney

Hello!! I typically reserve Wednesdays for work wear blog posts but I’m switching it up today to share a basics post with JCPenney! They have so many good spring staples right now. I’ve been really impressed with their button down shirts and also found a great pair of white chino shorts.

I also have the hardest time finding shorts that fit that are comfy, age appropriate (I’m 30 and can’t be wearing booty shorts, ya know?!) and will hold up from wash to wash. The brand A.N.A at JCPenney just released a pair that fits the bill! They are flattering and are perfect to wear casually but can also be dressed up. They run true to size but if you are between sizes, I suggest sizing up. I’m wearing a size 2. They aren’t see through but with white shorts (or anything white for that matter) I suggest wear nude undies. Better safe than sorry!

Today I’ve paired the shorts with a short sleeve chambray top. I’ve shared this top several times with y’all and LOVE the fit. I recently wore it as a bathing suit cover up at the beach and thought it was perfect for these chillier days of Spring. It’s a little boxy but does fit true to size. I’m wearing a size XS.

I’m adding a little bit of print with my sandals. I think it’s the perfect pop of snakeskin. They are really comfortable and very affordable! They are true to size and come in a few colors so I would totally stock up if you love sandals as much I do!

We are getting ready to head to Dallas tomorrow so I’ll be doing all the last minute packing today! Hope you have the best Wednesday!

Today’s post is sponsored by JCPenney. As always, all opinions are my own!

    Hey Brittany,
In your JcPenney post with the white shorts, I was wondering if you had any info on the star design light fixture on the porch in your photos!
Thanks for all your hard work in putting together these post I always look forward to them.
