We are taking Collins on her first trip today! Although, I wish I looked like this currently with a cute top and wedges, I’m 100% not wearing this to fly with an infant. If I was traveling sans baby, this would definitely be look I’d go for. I wanted share this anyway because not everyone who reads my blog has children. Plus, I just got the cutest new luggage from Nordstrom and I wanted to tell y’all all about it!
I haven’t bought new luggage in quite some time. I loved my previous set but thought it was time to change things up. The rose gold Calpak set was just the mix up I was looking for. I was also really excited about the price! For the large and small (carry on size) it’s only $285! That’s way less than my previous set. The reviews are a little mixed so I’m excited to try it out and let you know what I think!
A few other accessories I have been loving from Nordstrom that will be great for spring and summer are my Brixton straw hat (I’m wearing a size small), the best cognac wedges (suggest sizing up a half size) and this Sole Society circle tote. Which speaking of Sole Society, they have so many great circle bags! I also really like this option in the canyon color.
I’ll keep you girls posted on how our trip with a baby goes. I am thinking about writing a post afterwards with what worked or didn’t work for us so stay tuned for that! I’m also taking any last minute suggestions so please comment below if you have any knowledge on flying with a baby!
Today’s post is sponsored by Nordstrom. As always, all opinions are my own!

Thank you for the great article
Thanks for the excellent article
Thanks for the excellent post
I spent a great deal of time to find something similar to this
Nurse her during take off and landing. It helps with the pressure change and ears popping. Hood luck!!
I would love a follow up post on flying with baby! I will be flying with a 7-8 week old soon!
I hope you have a great trip! I will be excited to hear all about it!
Where are you jeans from? I loved them. Thanks, Irene.
Love the look ? but when I travel (& I’m solo) I am in leggings, a cute tee and flips flops with my hair in a messy bun lol. Have always been super jelly of those women or men who can pull off high heels on a plane ??.
Have fun on your trip!
I’ve flown internationally with all my babies and the best tip is to nurse at take off and landing! It helps with the cabin pressure. With any luck, you’ll get a babe who loves to sleep the whole way. The noise of the plane is like white noise to mine.
You have probably been told this many times already, but have her sucking on something before and during takeoff. The before part is critical. During is too late. Nursing, bottle, pacifier…. whatever is most comfortable for you. It will keep her little ears clear and pain free.
I have the same suitcase in a bright blue. It’s held up pretty well. Ive Only flew with it a handful of times but it’s been doing great!! Plenty of space! Good luck today! Safe travels with Collins !
