Summer Date Night Style

31 May |

Leopard Skirt \\ Black Tank \\ Shoes \\ Gucci Soho Bag \\ Sunglasses \\ Earrings \\ Strapless Bra

I love a good date night. Right now, since we don’t have kids yet, we go on date nights more frequently than say someone who has a houseful of little ones. I know we won’t always be able to do that but I’m soaking all the extra quality time I can get with my husband right now. I’m always looking for a fun flirty outfit to wear to dinner and the one I’m sharing today is just that!

It’s no secret that I love leopard print. I have shoes, bathing suits, shorts, pants and now this adorable skirt! It’s lightweight and perfect for dancing. We actually have a few concerts coming up in the month of June and July that this outfit would be perfect for. It’s a faux wrap skirt and has a zipper at the side with a tie detail about the zipper. It’s not lined but it’s also not see through at all. Just the perfect light skirt for summer! It sits on your waistline and I say it’s true to size! I’m wearing a US2.

Today I’m wearing the skirt with a v-back tank from Nordstrom. I wore this top in NYC in May and loved how comfy it was for warm weather. You will need to wear a strapless or sticky bra with this top because of the way the straps lay in the back. This is my favorite sticky bra. I’m wearing XS and it’s true to size.

What’s your favorite thing to do on date night? We are always looking for new ideas!

Thanks for stopping by today! As always, all opinions are my own!

  1. My name is Kandi. I’m 40 years old and the mother of 4 precious children, ages 14-7. I follow you on Instagram and love all your posts. I noticed you lived not far from me. I’m just a little north near the mall of Georgia in Buford. I’m not sure if you take clients and do “how to shop” style me type sessions but if you do I’d certainly be interested. I’m not the greatest when it comes to fashion so shops intimidate me hence why I sought out fashion bloggers on Instagram. It’s fun copying the outfits you post but I’d really like to learn how to shop for my build with confidence. (I’m 5’6, 135 pounds) If you are interested I’d love to hear your thoughts. Thank you so much for your time and consideration.

  2. A really fun date night (or day) idea is after dinner, head to Target. You set a timer on your phones (we chose 35 min.), split up, and you each get to spend $20 on each other. When the time goes off, you head to the cash registers. It was really fun to avoid each other in the store, and you can change up the amount to spend, the store, etc. We were supposed to wait until we got home to exchange “gifts” but we couldn’t wait and opened them in the parking lot lol.
