New Entry Way Table

We have finally replaced our entry way table!! We had a set of drawers in this space previously that I bought off craigslist and chalked painted blue when we first got married. Needless to say, it was time for something a little more clean and bright.

I like having a chest of drawers in this space because it’s nice to throw our keys or any random things we bring in the house in the drawers. Ideally, I’m trying to eliminate stuff just sitting on the counter (trust me, we still have lots of that too). I found this white dresser online at Walmart and LOVED it! I thought the gold would match the mirror we already had and loved how clean the dresser looked. Simple and clean – exactly what I was going for.

This piece is intended for a child’s room and we might use it for Collins in the future. Assembly is required but only took Chris an hour to put everything together. The drawers open really smoothly and have lots of room for storage.

On top of the chest, I have a wooden lamp from Walmart. I figured the light wood would help soften this space against the white and gold and I love the way it turned out. Walmart has a REALLY good selection of lamps right now! We have a few other lamps in our Guest Bedroom and love the USB attachment.
