A Monochromatic Look for the Workplace

11 July |

I’ve been loving monochromatic outfits this season and can tell you now that they will be a big trend to watch this fall! There is something about the sophistication of this outfit that will make you stand out in a crowd. I recently was on a style panel at the Atlanta Mart in April and talked about Monochromic trends for fall. Ever since then, my eyes have been on the lookout.

My ultraviolet look is the perfect way to get your feet wet with this trend and even better, you can wear this to work! You can of course wear this as a set or wear both pieces separately. Oversized boyfriend blazers are also very in but this pop of color is giving me all the heart eyes! I would suggest sizing down because it does run big and long.

The dress can be worn for work (you will want to have something on your shoulder because of the lack of sleeves) but it could also be worn for a wedding, girls weekend, bridal or baby shower and so much more! Plus it comes in a few other colors and is currently marked down to $30! I’m wearing XS and say it’s true to size!

When I put this outfit together, the purple dress was in stock in all sizes. Sadly, now the purple is sold out (that’s how you know it’s good) but several other colors and patterns are available. In the scrolling bar below, I’m going to link options that you can wear together that will give you this exact monochromatic look, just in another color!

What ideas for work do you want to see next? It would help me a ton if you could let me know below if you work in a business casual or business professional environment! I love sharing work looks and want to tailor them to what you want to see!

Thank you for stopping by today! Don’t forget to subscribe to my blog so you can receive alerts when new post go live and get exclusive access to the deals I’m sharing!

  1. Love this post! I recently got a corporate position and would love to see ideas of how to mix and match pants, tops and fun blazers/cardigans.
