LG Takes on NYC: What I Wore During Fashion Week
Hi friends! I just got back from such a fun trip to NYC for Fashion Week and had the best time styling chic looks for a few days in the city. I’m always so inspired by the energy there, and I wanted these outfits to reflect that fun, vibrant feeling as we start easing into fall. I hope these looks inspire you to have a little more fun with your style this season, play with statement pieces, and lean into the colors and textures that make getting dressed feel exciting again.
Traveling to NYC
I loved my travel look so much! It was the perfect mix of stylish and comfortable. I paired these stirrup leggings I recently picked up from Target with a classic white button-down, then draped a sweater over my shoulders in case I needed an extra layer. It felt polished enough for the city but great for a full travel day.
Satin in the City

I’m loving satin for fall, so I knew this trip would be the perfect opportunity to style a few satin pieces, starting with these gorgeous chartreuse pants! For a more elevated, dressy look, I paired them with a blazer, and for something a little more casual but just as chic, I styled them with this suede bomber jacket. I love the mix of rich fall tones, patterns, and textures throughout both looks!

A satin skirt is such a versatile piece you’ll reach for all season long! I love the rich brown tones in this printed style, it feels perfect for fall. I styled it two ways: first with a chocolate brown sweater for a tonal look, and then with this cute pink bomber jacket for a fun pop of color and contrast.
For a Night Out
This is probably one of the most fun dresses I’ve worn in a while! I love the color, all the sequins, and the bow on the back! It’s definitely a splurge, but it’s truly stunning!
This leopard dress is absolutely stunning! I loved wearing it to an event one night in NYC. The silhouette is so flattering, and the fabric moves beautifully. It’s also more of a splurge, but it’s one of those pieces you can wear again and again for fall and winter events.
Style That Makes a Statement
I pulled out a few fun statement pieces for this trip, including this gorgeous leather fringe skirt! The movement is so fun, and I love how chic it looks styled with a blazer and belt. It’s one of those pieces that instantly makes an outfit feel special!
I love this ruffle top from Zara! It’s such a unique, flattering piece and adds the perfect amount of visual interest to any look. I especially love it paired with these brown satin pants for a polished fall look!

I’m obsessed with this leopard print skort! Leopard is such a fun statement print, but it’s still incredibly versatile. I love it paired with this pink satin top for a cute date night or girls’ night look. And for something a little more playful, I styled it with this white long-sleeve top to mix patterns and textures, it was the perfect coffee shop look while I was out and about in NYC.
