How to Style Work Pieces Multiple Ways

20 April |

When thinking about what workwear pieces are worth the investment, I recommend choosing items that are versatile! I love to style one workwear piece multiple ways to get the most bang for my buck. Today I’m showing you how you can stretch your work wardrobe with the switch of a top or by adding a blazer!

If you’re wanting to incorporate a few more statement pieces into your work wardrobe, this modern print midi skirt is the perfect addition. I recommend styling it with a solid black top for a classic look. If you’re feeling bold, opt for a bright pink peplum top. Another way to style this skirt is to pair it with a bodysuit and layer a blazer over the top!

You can’t go wrong with a classic button-front shirt dress! This midi style is right on trend for spring. Style it with neutral braided heels and a pair of statement earrings. If you’re on the hunt for more work-approved statement earrings, check out this post.

A black and white striped dress will forever stand the test of time! I love versatile pieces like this. You can easily take this t-shirt dress from work to the weekend by ditching your trusty blazer for your favorite denim jacket.

I have been wearing the same denim jacket for years. It definitely makes the list of top wardrobe essentials to have in your closet. The best part, this one is less than $50!

BLAZER | GRAPHIC TEE | PANTS | HEELS | TOP | BAG (left) | BAG (left)
These neutral wide-leg pants are another wardrobe staple. They are lightweight and feature an elastic waistband for maximum comfort. I’ve styled them here with a graphic tee and blazer for a chic business casual look.

Another way to style these pants is to pair them with a cross-front top and a straw bag. This is a perfect business lunch look! If it gets a little chilly, grab your favorite cardigan and layer it over the top.
