How to Style Wide-Leg Pants for Work

3 May |

When it comes to styling wide-leg pants for work, there are a few things to keep in mind. First, you want to make sure that your pants are the right length – they should hit just above the ankle so that you can show off your shoes. Pair them with a fitted top or blouse to balance out the volume of the pants. Opt for a pair of sleek pumps or mules to complete the look. My favorite are these Sam Edelman heels that I’ve had for years!

Wide-leg pants are a great option for work! I recommend pairing them with a peplum top to create a chic and professional look.
In this workwear look I paired a larger floral pattern with the muted pink pants. The pink in the watercolor floral top ties in perfectly with the pants! For footwear, opt for a pair of pointed-toe heels or loafers to elongate your legs. Finish the look with statement earrings and a woven bag.

Another way to style this look is to add a statement belt to accentuate your waistline and give the outfit a polished look.

Wide-leg black trousers are a work wardrobe staple. Not only can you pair these with multiple pieces in your wardrobe, you can wear them all year long! For the first look, I opted for a mock neck top and finished the look with a woven clutch. In the second look, I added a denim shirt and completed the look with a thin neutral belt.

These white cropped wide-leg pants are perfect for spring. I love that they hit right above the ankle, which elongates your legs. Pair them with a silk tank and blazer for a business professional look. If you’re wanting to style these pants more casually, swap the blazer for a denim jacket and finish the look with mules.
