Home Reveal – Master Bedroom

Happy Friday!! The Master Bedroom is the next room that I’ll be revealing! I really love this space in our home as well. Unlike the kitchen, we have lots more to do with this room before it’s fully complete. I’m still looking for pictures to hang on the walls. I’m also trying to decide if I want to shelves anywhere. Lots to think about but thankfully we have time!

We decided to go with more blues and natural tones in our bedroom. I’m still not sure how I managed to get so much pink into our living room so I figured I would add blue into the room where we sleep. We purchased almost all of our furniture from Ashley Furniture which includes our bed, one of the dressers and one of the night stands. We kept a dresser from our previous house and another night stand. Sadly, our bed is no longer in stock at Ashley. I’m not sure if they will be bringing it back or if it’s gone for good. The bed was part of this room’s collection and is titled the Ollesburg. Here is another very similar option to what we have. We saved our other bed from the last house and put that in one of the guest bedrooms. I’ll share that room soon!

This is what we had to start out with!

This pillow was a wedding gift! I’m not sure where it was purchased.

Right now our master is very simple. The only other things in the room are the rug that goes under our bed. I purchased it from World Market and love the grey and hints of blue details. We also have a tall standing mirror and a sitting chair. I need to figure out a better place for the chair to go. Maybe we will move it from this room altogether.

I bought our duvet from Ikea (you can find the links here) and most all of the pillows you see here are from TJ Maxx or Homegoods. Their pillow selection is amazing!! We added sheer curtains to each window on either side of our bed. They are very dainty the perfect window addition. I also found our current rods at Target. They are gold with pointed knobs. I’ve been buying these exact ones for all of our rooms because I love how they look. They are also very inexpensive which I love!

I did get all new sheets from Brooklinen and have been LOVING them! I wasn’t sure if I would want to have a duvet with a pattern or not so just in case I ordered a set of striped bundled luxury sheets and a grey polka dot bundled luxury sheet set. These sheets are honestly the most comfortable sheets I’ve ever slept on. They are currently on sale right now too! They come with the fitted sheet, the standard sheet, pillowcases and a duvet cover. Right now they are offering $20 off plus free shipping if you use code Brittany20 at Checkout. Here is a link to the sheets I have!

One question I’ve been asked a ton since we have moved in is what paint color we have throughout the house. Thankfully the paint is the same throughout the whole house. It’s Agreeable Gray by Sherwin Williams. Chris actually painted the living room and my office in our last house this same color so we were so excited to find out our new house would be Grey. The best thing about this paint color is that it changes tones with the lighting. In some rooms it looks more taupe and others more grey. I highly recommend this one if you are looking for a new paint color.

I’m linking everything I can here. Don’t forget to check within the text for other links that you might not see here! Which rooms do you want to see next?
