Don’t mind me, just a few weeks late to sharing our newborn photos. Nothing like having a second child right after a move to a new city, in the middle of a global pandemic, all while taking no maternity leave. It’s okay, you can call me crazy! But our photos are on the blog today which is better late than never!

My amazing friend, Jessica Jane Photography drove to Athens for us and I’ll forever be grateful for her. If you are in the Atlanta area, reach out to her for your family photo needs. I just saw on her Instagram that she will be doing Fall Mini Family sessions and I’m tempted to book one for us!

Another part of this post that I wanted to share was what to wear during your newborn photos. It’s such a weird time for our new mom bodies so wearing something comfortable that isn’t sweatpants can be a chore. The good news is that all eyes are really on your new baby but you’ll also want to wear something that you will want to see on your walls and in photo books for years to come. I would suggest going for something flowy. I wore this white dress from Target and loved the texture. The bodice flowed out so there wasn’t anything sticking to my body. It also buttons which is a nice nursing friendly option for later.

Below I am sharing several ideas for mom, dad, baby and siblings. I hope these ideas are helpful! At the end of the day, I say go with something comfortable that you will feel good in!
