Cyber Monday – For All of the Guys Out There

26 November |

Hi Friends, Chris here! Brittany is a little tired from all of the traveling, and the whole being pregnant! I decided I would do a mini takeover to help with some Christmas gifts for all of the significant others out there. Before I get into all of my favorite Cyber Monday sales, I gotta tell you, linking all of these was way more time consuming than I thought it would be. Definitely have more appreciation for when Brittany tells me she needs more time to finish a blog post. Now that I got my hubby brownie points taken care of, lets get into some of my favorite Cyber Monday deals.

Let’s start with my favorite brand of shoes, Cole Haan. They are running a sale with everything being 30%-50% off, but with code ‘Cyber’ you get an additional 10% off! Now I know Brittany was showing off my boots this weekend, but what you may not know is I wear Cole Haan’s to work everyday. Now I know not everyone has to wear a suit to the office but these loafers also look great with a pair of khakis or jeans. I would recommend sizing down a tad, I wear 11.5 Nike Sneakers, but 11 in all of my Cole Haan’s (except one pair I’ll explain in a little bit). When we are doing date night, I alternate between drivers, boots, and oxfords, depending on situation and weather. With it being closer to winter, I will focus on the boots and oxfords. The boots are incredibly light and comfortable for walking around in. The leather actually feels like the outside of a football. I wouldn’t recommend them for snowy conditions though, so if you live in a real cold city, go with the boots I wore in Tahoe. The oxfords are the only Cole Haan’s that I size down even more(10.5 from 11.5) because they stretch up top! I love the gray because they have a sneaker feel to them but can be dressed up with a pair of jeans and nice button down.

Now that we have the shoes figured out, lets move on to the upper body. As y’all probably know, I am a big fan of Vineyard Vines. They are running a massive sale of 40% off sale items, 25% off full priced, and free shipping with code ‘HOLIDAY18’. Let’s start with my goto polo. I am a big fan of the entire Edgartown line because how soft the material is. It is tri-blend, so its not as heavy as cotton or as sporty as the dri-fit. When it comes to button downs, I like to keep a mix of flannels, classics, or performance plaids. All three come in Classic or Slim fit and run true to size. One of the biggest reasons I love Vineyard Vines is the amount of options they have, so whatever cut or material you want, they have an option for you. The last thing everyone needs is a sweater to keep warm. My goto is the Shep Shirt. I have it in a couple different colors and I love it for its versatility.

Now that we have gotten the fashion out of the way, I am going to share a secret with all of you. Most of your significant others would love to see some things other than just clothes under the Christmas tree. I know this, because I am one of them. Don’t get me wrong, I love a new polo or pair of boots, but I definitely wouldn’t hate opening up one of these gifts either.

For the sports fan out there, FansEdge is my goto site. With code ‘WOW30‘ you will get an additional 30% off all purchases. The best part of this site is that, whoever your favorite team is, they have gift options. From jerseys, to sweatshirts, to hats, to collectibles, this site is my goto for all my fan gear!

As someone who has to travel for work, I decided to invest in some good luggage. My rationale was, buy it once and never have to worry about it again. Well lucky for us, Nordstrom is having a huge sale on my goto brand, Tumi. For the weekend warrior, I would recommend either the satchel, which expands and fits way more than I expected, or the tri-fold garment bag. I use the garment bag any time I need to keep a suit or button down wrinkle free. For those getting on a plane a lot I recommend the Alpha 2 Carry-On with the Alpha 2 Split Travel Kit. Now if they are getting on a plane a lot, there is also one other must have, and thats a good pair of headphones. Trust me after a long week of travel, the first thing I do when I get on the plane is put on my Bose noise canceling headphones. They are currently on-sale and are as close to a must have as I can think of. I promise if those are under the tree, you will have one happy hubby. Plus, right now, when you spend $250 you will get a $50 gift card to use at Nordstrom in January! Something for the hubby and something for you.

Well if you have made it this far, you are probably sick of me, and luckily for y’all Brittany will be returning to the blog this week. My goal in all of this was to help Brittany out, but if I am being honest, I am also hoping that your significant others have a big smile on their faces come Christmas morning! Good luck and happy shopping!

-Chris

ps. If you want to shop some of Brittany’s favorites, you can find all the updated sales on her website under the Cyber Monday Tab.
