Comfy, Casual Dress for Summer

Happy Monday! Excited to start a new week with a full schedule including celebrating a friend’s birthday today! Anna and I are making a few updates in my house right now. As I like to say, we are finishing the decorating on the main level then will work up to the second floor and tackle the bedrooms. We are changing up my office space (YAY) and will soon be sharing before and afters of each room!

Wearing casual dresses in the summer is a must. No matter what your day looks like, if you work in a business casual environment, if you are a nanny and will be chasing kiddos all day, or if you simply have a ton of errands to run and need something comfy, yet cute, this option is for you!

I went with my normal size and love the fit. It’s cotton so depending how you wash it, it might shrink a little. I will probably wash it on gentle and then hang or lay flat to dry just to be safe.

Today I’m wearing my favorite running shoes with this dress. I’m going for more of an athleisure look. This shoe has sold like hot cakes! Finish Line has them on major sale but only in select sizes. They are fully stocked but still full price at DSW. I absolutely love this shoe. It’s comfortable and is actually a good shoe to run in if you are looking to try something new. As for sizing, I have my normal size and they fit great!
