Patagonia Jacket \\ Tunic \\ Spanx Leggings \\ Nike Shoes \\ Similar Purse \\ Sunglasses

Happy Tuesday! We are on the way to Amelia Island for Thanksgiving with my family. It’s been a long time since I’ve been to Amelia Island. I don’t think Chris has ever been before so I’m excited to show him around. We have been going, going, going non-stop recently so a little vacation will be much appreciated!

Today on Loverly Grey, I wanted to share a fun travel look with you. We are driving to Florida and it’s about a six hour car ride. The key to dressing for car rides is to dress as comfy as possible. I recently found this purple tunic at Nordstrom and knew it would be perfect for this occasion. Not only is it long sleeve, which is my personal favorite because I’m always cold, but the material is crazy soft. I’m wearing a XS. My purple color is currently sold out (I’m sorry!!) but the good news is that this top comes in 4 other color options. I really like the blue and the grey. It’s the perfect top to layer under sweaters or add a scarf to stay warm!

On top of the tunic, I added my favorite Patagonia jacket. I’ve had this “better sweater” jacket for two years now. I usually try to buy a new Patagonia piece every year. I have the “better sweater” vest and the re-tool snap tee fleece pullover. I think I might go for another color in the “better sweater” full zip this season. I really like the color ‘pelican’ and think it will go with a lot of options. In the “better sweater” full zip, I wear a small. In the re-tool snap tee fleece pullover, I have one that’s a medium and one that’s a large. The large is like an oversized sweatshirt. I wouldn’t recommend going that big unless you wanted an oversized look/feel.

I have on nikes and spanx faux leather leggings to complete the car ride look. I’m going to keep my eye out for these Spanx leggings to go on sale over Black Friday weekend.

Everything featured in today’s blog post can be purchased at Nordstrom! I’ve been looking at their athleisure styles more recently and they actually have a really large selection. I can’t wait to see what their holiday sales will be for Black Friday! Don’t forget to keep checking back to my blog for all the sales at Nordstrom this weekend!

I hope that you have safe travels if you are headed somewhere for Thanksgiving! Thank you so much for stopping by today’s post. Thank you Nordstrom for sponsoring my casual travel look. As always, all opinions are my own.
