Olive Trousers + Cozy Vest

5 September |

Hi Friends! I love love love today’s outfit! Olive green is the color of my life right now (insert praise hands) and I seriously cannot get enough of it! I stumbled upon these trouser pants at Old Navy a few weeks ago and was shocked when I tried them on. They fit perfect and were so comfortable. I didn’t even give buying them a second thought. They are great pants to pair with a blouse for work or a tank for play. They are $35 and come in three other colors – all of which are perfect for Fall. I am wearing a size 0 and say they fit true to size.

I paired the trousers with a white cami. This exact one is from Topshop at Nordstrom and is currently on sale. I don’t think I would recommend this one for work because it’s a little low cut. However, this one from Banana Republic is perfect. It’s double layered (not sheer at all) and is great for layering. I would wear an XS in the Banana cami.

I saw my friend, Laura Godfrey from Reese & Rowe Blog, with this sweater vest a few weeks ago when we met up to take outfit pictures. Side note, we get together about once every two weeks or so and shoot outfit looks for each other. So if you ever see us around Woodstock or Avalon, please come say hello! So she had this adorable vest that I couldn’t get enough of and I knew I needed it for my Fall wardrobe too! The best part is that it’s only $37! I already have plans to pair it with this black dress and these boots when it gets a little cooler!

I wanted to take a minute to say THANK YOU for helping me raise money to donate to Hurricane Harvey Relief in Houston. I decided last week that I wanted to help out in some way but didn’t really know how. I have a ton of clothes that I don’t wear anymore and usually sell them on my Poshmark Account (username – loverlygrey). I figured I could put up my clothes and whatever profits I make from the sales, I will donate to people in need in Houston! It works out for everyone -mI clean out my closet, you get a new outfit but most importantly, we are teaming up to help people in need. I highly encourage you to give if you can. Even if it’s just a few dollars, anything will help!

  1. Do you have a Poshmark account? I believe I saw one at one time, but can no longer find it. You are my style icon, but I can’t afford most of the looks from the stores
