Okay, I have to tell you… I’ve been in such a spring reset mood lately, and updating my makeup routine was at the top of my list. I’ve been reaching for lighter, glowier products that are so easy to throw on. I keep coming back to a few staples from Merit and ILIA that I genuinely look forward to using every morning. It’s a routine where I’m done in a few minutes, and my skin always looks so good. Everything just feels fresh, soft, and a little more awake, which is exactly what I want this time of year. These are the products I’ve been using on repeat lately, and I’m so excited to walk you through them.

Face

Here’s where I start! I start with the Merit Complexion Stick in Bisque all over to even things out, then go back in with Bone under my eyes to brighten, and it seriously melts right into the skin. I blend everything out with the Merit Brush, and it gives that soft, natural finish without looking like I’m wearing a ton of makeup. Then I warm things up with the Merit Bronze Balm in Seine, just lightly around my face for a little definition.

Cheeks

For cheeks, I’ve been using the Dior blush in Pink 001, which adds the prettiest soft pink flush that wakes everything up. It’s simple, it’s glowy, and it just makes my skin look really, really good.

Brows and Eyes

I keep my brows and eyes super simple. I’ll lightly fill in my brows with the Trish McEvoy Precision Brow Shaper in Natural, just to shape them and add a little fullness without overdoing it. For eyes, I’ve been reaching for the Tarte palette and mixing shades like Charmer, Jetsetter, and Rocker for that soft, everyday look that works with everything. Then I go in with the Lancôme lash primer and mascara combo, and this is what really makes a difference. My lashes look so much longer and more lifted, but still soft and not clumpy. It’s quick, easy, and something I can do as a mom of 3!

And then I just finish everything off with a quick mist of Milk Makeup setting spray all over my face. It kind of melts everything together and gives that soft, fresh finish that doesn’t look powdery or overdone. It’s such a simple last step, but I always notice the difference when I skip it.

This routine has just been such a lifesaver for me lately. Between getting everyone ready and trying to get out the door on time, I don’t have the extra minutes to stand in front of the mirror, figuring things out. I love that it makes me look a little more awake and put together, even on the busiest mornings. It’s simple, it works, and right now that’s exactly what I need.
