MOMMY & ME MATCHING PAJAMAS + COLLINS UPDATE

13 July |

Happy Monday! Wanted to give y’all an update on little Miss Collins! She just turned 17 months and is a ball of fire! She’s walking/running all over the place and is starting to understand her role as a big sister. It’s been really fun to see her love on Hazel. Every morning she runs to Hazel’s bassinet to see her and yells “Baby”! It’s so sweet.

As you know, we recently moved back to Athens to be closer to family. My mom previously babysat a Collins twice a week while we lived in Alpharetta. Collins now has the luxury of seeing my parents almost daily. It’s been great for her to get more one on one time with them as we are navigating the newborn/infant stage with Hazel. Truly couldn’t do this without them!

Speaking of alone time, I think it’s important to spend alone time with Collins and hope to always break away just her and I as she gets older. The same goes for Hazel! I have a great relationship with my mom and I truly believe that our time one on one time really helped foster that!

PAJAMA TOP \\ PAJAMA BOTTOMS \\ TODDLER PAJAMAS

I was so excited to see that my Soma pajamas came in toddler sizes!! I’ll take any opportunity to match with Collins, especially right now when she doesn’t voice her opinion on what she wants to wear! The cool nights pajamas from Soma are awesome and have been great during these first few weeks of postpartum night sweats – yes, that’s a real thing! This cami style top comes with a built in bra, to which I just stick my disposable nursing pads to. It’s very comfortable and not tight at all. If you need more support, you’ll want to wear a bra. I’m wearing size small in both the top and shorts and would say they are true to size. Collins is wearing size 3T in the toddler pajamas and I would say they run a little small. She is very tall for her age so I purposefully ordered up and they seem to fit her great.

Today’s post is sponsored by Soma Intimates. As always, all opinions are my own.
