Mixing Patterns

9 June |

I don’t think I’m saying anything new when I say that I love mixing patterns. This is a time to get outside your comfort zone and switch things up. So many more things go together than you actually think go together. Like floral and stripes or a leopard print with a black and white top.

I’m hear to tell you that mixing patterns is okay to do and to do it often! In this post I have 5 things going on here that I think you should know. First I have a black and white patterned top, a bright statement necklace, my favorite leopard clutch, solid pants {that happen to match my necklace, on purpose of course} & last but not least, neutral heels.

I think mixing B+W with leopard is my favorite pattern mixing option. I don’t care what anyone says, leopard print, if worn correctly, is classic! So many colors go well with leopard print. In the summer I like to incorporate pinks and light blues with the print to really make it pop. If you are hesitant, you can always add your leopard at night to make your outfit stand out.

What is your favorite pattern mixing combo?
