Home Decor Retailers I’m Shopping at for our New Home

I’m doing a lot of online shopping for the new house right now. I say shopping, but really I mean window shopping to get inspiration for what I really want. There is SO MUCH out there and some days I feel like I could go one million different directions with our new home. The style is a little different than what we have previously had so I’m excited to put my touch on it.

I’ve gotten messages from several of y’all who are also moving, will be moving or have recently moved and want ideas for your new spaces. I figured it would be fun to round up some of the retailers that I shop at for home decor. I plan to share lots more home content over the next several months as we are getting things together. This list is where I’m shopping for and what I usually go to each website to find. Hope this is helpful!

Target – Who doesn’t love Target for Home Decor? I am loving the new pieces from Threshold and Opalhouse.

World Market – I love their lighting and have office decor from them. I’m also looking at an entry way table on their site.

Walmart – I’ve had great luck finding good home decor at Walmart. I’ve recently been looking through their outdoor furniture and entry way planters for the new house.

Joss & Main – I love this console table they have right now! I also considered this canopy bed!

Overstock – I have been eyeing several of their outdoor patio sets and have had good luck with rugs from them in the past.

Wayfair – What’s not to find on Wayfair? Currently searching for a white dresser on their site.

Serena & Lily – Barstools. I’ve always loved their barstools. They are a little pricey but I’ve heard nothing but great things about their customer service.

Boutique Rugs – There are several rugs I’m looking at for different areas of our house. I love their neutral options and they always seem to be running sales!

RugsUSA – Several of the rugs from our Alpharetta house were from RugsUSA. They have really great customer service and fast shipping!

Linen & Flax – This is a local shop that I love to browse for accent pieces! Definitely check out their store front if you are in Roswell!

Kirklands – I’m a sucker for this store. Their lamps, end tables and home decor are some of my favorite pieces. I also love their full length mirrors!

Birch Lane – I’ve been looking at beds, nightstands and barstools from Birch Lane. I haven’t ordered anything from them yet but their shipping seems to be pretty quick!

Homegoods – I cannot wait to take long walks down the aisles of Homegoods again, hopefully soon! I love shopping there for pillows, lamps, random accent furniture, office furniture and bedding!

Ballard Designs – I think we finally found the nightstands we are going with. Chris was adamant about a nightstand with a charging portal built in. He’s had that feature in his current nightstand and is not budging on his NEED for that….so needless to say, the search way TOUGH. Here is the one we are looking at!

Pottery Barn – We bought two of the York Roll Arm Sofa in Performance Boucle Oatmeal. I’m excited to get them in and try them out! I haven’t had a slipcover sofa before but I have friends who swear by them! We also bought our dining room table from Pottery Barn. We decided on a round table for our new house. The one we bought is the Linden Round Pedestal Dining Table. I’m still processing through the chairs we will have paired with it.

West Elm – Chris is really wanting another recliner. We are moving his current recliner to the nursery (it’s actually meant for a nursery) so we have been on the hunt for something else for him. We aren’t really coming to an agreement on what that looks like…stay tuned!

Crate & Barrel – I love their kitchen accessories and barware. Their Tour Wine glasses are some of my all time favorites. They also have great gifts if you are looking for wedding shower options.

Amazon – There is so much random goodness on Amazon! I’m looking here for storage essentials. Once we get settled, I’ll share a big Amazon round up!

Restoration Hardware – We decided to purchase our canopy bed from RH. I couldn’t stop thinking about their black iron canopy bed and knew I would regret not getting the black I wanted, everything else I thought I liked, I didn’t after a few days. I’ll keep you posted on how it turns out!

Nordstrom Rack – Another great place for random home decor. They usually have Barefoot Dreams blankets marked down really low and great candles! I’ve also gotten a dog bed for Birdie there in the past!
