Hey Gals! Happy February! We have soooo much going on this month. We move next week, then it’s Valentine’s Day and then two days later it’s Chris’s birthday. I have a feeling this month is going to fly by! One thing I don’t want to miss out on is Galentine’s with my besties! Chris and I usually do something for Valentine’s on the actual or combine the two on his birthday. So that leaves me the other 26 days of the month to get together with my girlfriends for Galentine’s!
This year and I’m getting together with one of my blogger besties, Lindsay from Sell Eat Love! Can you guess what we are going to do?? Regardless if you are a Christian Grey kind of girl or not, getting together for dinner and a movie with your best gal sounds like the perfect night of catching up and hanging out! Speaking of Christian Grey, are you heading out to see Fifty Shades Freed this holiday?
Another fun Galentine’s idea would be grabbing brunch at a local restaurant or hosting a Galentine’s Party at home. If we were moved in to our house, this would be my first choice! I’m so excited to host the girls for dinner when the move is over.
Lindsay and I wanted to share a few different options of what to wear for Galentine’s with you! We both decided on a more casual vibe for our movie date. She has on the cutest LOVE sweater! It’s so perfect for Valentine’s Day (insert heart eyes here). She paired her sweater with her go-to white jeans. I love this girl for many reasons! One of them being that she loves to break fashion rules and wear white all year long, just like I do! She topped off her look with silver mules and her newest addition to the family, that amazing red Gucci Bag!!
Side note – Lindsay worked so hard for that bag! She was tasked at work to go above and beyond and hit a crazy high goal. The reward for this achievement was a new Gucci bag. You better believe that Lindsay worked her you know what off to earn that baby!! I love seeing her carry it now because I know how hard she worked for it!
For my look, I’m adding the sweetest little sweater to a floral babydoll dress. Sadly my exact sweater isn’t available online yet (such a bummer) but here is one that is very similar. My dress is the cutest thing ever! It’s true to size, I’m wearing XS. If you follow me on Instagram, you might remember seeing me style this dress three different ways. Click here if you want to check it out! I also added grey booties to complete my look!
I’m linking several other options for Valentine’s Day and Galentine’s outfits below! Be sure to head over to Lindsay’d blog – Sell Eat Love – to read her post from this shoot as well! Happy Valentine’s Day Loves!!
