Easter Basket Ideas For Every Age

Easter is such a fun holiday. I mean, who can resist pastel colors and chocolate bunnies. Over here at the Loverly Grey house, our tradition is to celebrate with Easter baskets! There are so many great Easter basket ideas for every age, that it can seem overwhelming at times. To take the guess work out of it, I’ve rounded up everything you need to create the perfect Easter basket below! The best part? These ideas will work for any age!

When it comes to our little one’s first Easter, it’s hard to resist the temptation to go a little nuts! I recommend sticking with a few great basics that they can use long after Easter is gone! You could do a book, bunny pajamas, a teething ring and toy. Or you could go more practical with summer essentials like a hat, swimsuit and towel!

When it comes to building the perfect Easter basket we suggest going with a theme! We love to think about items that our littles ones will enjoy and use for months and months. If you have an upcoming beach trip planned, this could be a great opportunity to grab some of those items your little one may need on the trip. Think bathing suit, towel, beach ball, sand toys, etc. Or you could go more broad with an outdoor fun theme and pick up things like a kiddie pool, bubbles and maybe some yard games!

Keep in mind, one Easter basket theme is not resisted to a certain age! Your three year will love pool essential just at much as your teenager will. But when it comes to older kids’ Easter baskets we love the idea of summer time fun! Get everything they need for a fun summer that will get them out from behind a screen and enjoying the sunshine! This can be pool toys, things for them to play sports, or even family board games.

If you’re shopping for a teenager, I would go with something more playful, while still keeping in mind things they will love and use. He or she will definitely need new sandals for summer and would probably love new headphones or a blue tooth speaker for lounging by the pool. Just like your toddler likes bath accessories like bath crayons your teen would love some fun bath bombs. You can even pick up some fun summer pajamas that they can wear all season long!
