Designer Items that are Splurge Worthy for Christmas

It’s not too late to add something extra special to your Christmas list this year! Especially when you are buying from Nordstrom. Their shipping cut off isn’t until December 22nd and you can order online and pick up in store through Christmas Ever (be sure to check your local store’s hours).

Today’s post is all about splurge worthy pieces that are worth the investment. If you have been around for a while, you know that one of my favorite hobbies is to collect designer handbags. This started when I had my first big girl job and I’ve been saving up for my next purchase ever since. I love a good sale, don’t get me wrong, but there is something special to me about putting money aside when I can for my next designer piece. I believe that if you work hard you should reward yourself from time to time!

Nordstrom is a great place to shop for designer items. They have great in store options and several of their locations carry designer pieces. They also have a VAST online selection with tons of colors and even more options so the options are endless!

No matter what your budget is, there is something for everyone. If you wanted to start with something small, you could go with a YSL Lipstick or Chanel Perfume. These are both options under $100 and can be reserved for a special occasion or worn everyday. If your budget is a little higher, the Gucci cardholder or Gucci Sunglasses would be a fun addition. The cardholder is great for your license and credit card and will be used a ton in smaller bags for going out or holiday parties. I really like these Gucci Sunglasses and have been wearing mine nonstop.

Moving on to shoes, my Gucci Mules are some of my most worn flats. They go with everything and are available in several colors. They are also really comfortable and will last season after season. Golden Goose sneakers are all the rage this season. I don’t personally own a pair but have been considering this option!

Now onto handbags. Chris bought me the YSL Lou Lou Medium for my birthday and I think I’ve carried it everyday since. I was worried the medium would be too bulky but I’m really glad I went with this size. It carries everything I need day to day and easily fits in my tote bag when I am carrying my computer or other things for Collins. It’s a larger investment but for the amount I’ve carried it, I would say it’s worth every penny!
